BECAUSE YOUR FAITH IS GROWING ABUNDANTLY

SMS at the Bible Institute takes students on a more intensive journey into the Word of God and living a life of ministry. With a strong biblical foundation already in place, second- and third- year SMS students focus on more challenging and intricate biblical courses.

Every SMS student also takes part in coordinating ministry whether in camps or at a local church nearby, complete with real-life opportunities, including lesson planning, speaking, teaching, coordinating, song leading, managing women’s ministry, and directing children’s programs. All of this helps students put the knowledge gained from the classroom into real-life practice.

During their second and third years at the Bible Institute, students take courses such as Methods of Christian Leadership and Christian Education of Children: Youth and Adults to learn how to reach different age groups. They also learn the basics of Christian education and event planning through courses like Organizing Christian Seminars and Pastoral Ministries. All of the courses give students the chance to hear and learn from leading national and international Christian speakers, pastors and artists.

STEP RIGHT INTO MINISTRY

Every SMS student fulfills their fourth year as an intern. Internship opportunities vary widely, and students are placed into their internships based on spiritual gifts and personal ministry goals. Students develop a deeper understanding of their role in practical service and leadership in the body of Christ, preparing them for lives dedicated to the Lord. Room, board, practical apprenticeship, and mentorship are all benefits a student can expect from the final capstone of their Bible Institute journey.
