I am Shekinah P. Saldayen, currently studying at Word of Life Bible Institute. Growing up in a Christian environment, I accepted Jesus as my Savior at a young age.  However, my faith remained dormant until a life-changing experience at a Kessick camp in Ifugao State University.  During the dedication night, I was convicted of my sin and experienced a profound transformation.  I stopped pursuing worldly desires and began living for Christ, engaging in ministry, and experiencing an inexplicable joy.  This newfound passion for Christ led me to Word of Life Bible Institute, where I am currently a second-year student.

During my senior high school years, I wrestled with questions about the longevity of my faith.  Seeking answers, I immersed myself in Scripture and sought wise counsel.  My desire to serve Christ flourished, and my appetite for ministry became insatiable.  I chose Word of Life because of their passion for the Lord, their love for the lost, and their comprehensive training for full-time ministry.  The SMS program particularly resonated with me because it equips students with the necessary skills and knowledge to become effective Christian leaders.  Through practical experiences like teaching, coordinating events, and leading various ministry aspects, the program provides a comprehensive training for future pastors and ministry workers.  I love the program’s emphasis on active participation, allowing students to apply their learning in real-world situations.  The SMS program, with its focus on Bible study, leadership training, and a comprehensive curriculum covering various aspects of ministry, is a valuable resource for any aspiring Christian leader.  I wholeheartedly recommend it, especially to SBS students, as it provides a strong foundation for effective full-time ministry.
